I’m 21 years old and I live with my two children. I’m a full-time student in community college. The heating assistance program helped me because I didn’t have to pay for my fuel oil this year. "I’m Colleen Cooper and I’ve lived my whole life here on the reservation and since 1977 in this house. I live with my 15-year-old daughter, Paige, am enrolled in community college, and am studying liberal arts. I have one more semester to go to get my degree. This house is so cold we can’t walk around in it barefooted, and we’ve had to use the stove for heat.
